Exercise of the Week
Rolling medicine ball push-up
- Starting position: Assume push-up position with medicine ball under one hand.
- Perform one rep (down and up), then roll the ball to your other hand and perform another rep. Repeat, changing hands after each consecutive rep.
- Muscles worked: Primarily pectoralis and triceps muscle groups. The ball, in addition to creating instability, allows a greater range of motion of the shoulder joint on the ball side.
